Did You Know? Greenhouse Gas Comes From Your Ass
That’s right - the average flatus contains up to 40% carbon dioxide and methane, two gases that are the among the largest contributors to the climate emergency. At an average of 10-20 farts per day, those toots could pollute (and not just the local aromas).
What We Do
We’ve calculated the average amount of greenhouse gas emitted via flatulence per person (click here for our formula), and provide a simple, hilarious way to reduce its impact on the atmosphere. Except for the smell - our technology isn't that powerful yet. You tell us whose eructations you’d like to ameliorate, and we use your contribution to purchase carbon offsets for their butt bugles. We then send you a unique Certificate of Authenticity recognizing your contribution, which can be proudly displayed in the office or classroom, or gifted to a notoriously windy loved one.
Raising Awareness to Reduce Green House Gases
The average American produces 16.6 tons of carbon emissions per year - one of the highest carbon footprints per capita of any country on earth. By showcasing carbon offsets and how they work, our goal at EcoFarts is to increase awareness and make an impact in reducing global carbon emissions, even if we can’t stop you from farting (as much as we’d like to).
